In 2011 I founded April Bagley Photography after realizing I couldn’t live without the euphoric feeling of bringing joy to other’s lives with my talent and ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life.
300 + weddings and 500 + portrait sessions later, I’m still in love and in awe of this industry. I couldn’t imagine a life without photography and serving others.
Although I do take my responsibility of documenting a once in a lifetime celebration very seriously, there’s always room to have a good time and make long lasting friendships with those I am lucky enough to photograph.
Weddings are my primary bookings but documenting families will always have a spot on my calendar yearly. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for any of your photographic needs.

Born and raised in Central Alabama
and definitely always thirsty to travel. It's not long before on each trip away that I am dying to get back home to my cozy brick home plopped in front of a quiet cotton field. I love the balance of country living and city visiting. I've photographed weddings all around the East Coast and dreaming to make my way out West next. I more than love my little family that consists of my husband Ryan of almost 15 years, my senior beagle Olive and our terror of a cat, Logan. Hiking, visiting coffee shops, collecting film cameras, shooting polaroids, doodling, journaling, reading, baking and cooking are just a few of my most favorite things. I look forward to my weekly New Yorker issue and my next meal. A simple girl just enjoying what she does!
